Healthy LifeStars

Healthy LifeStars (HLS) is a national non-profit that is launching a generation of healthy kids. Our goal is to motivate and educate participants, especially “at risk” kids and their families, to take personal responsibility for healthy habits now and for the rest of their lives. Celebrating our 20th Anniversary, our impact has grown from a few hundred kids in 2004 to over 17,000 kids in 2023, and over 77,000 total kids served to date across 10 states - with proven positive changes in healthy attitudes, behaviors, and habits. With a big vision of bending the obesity curve downward, we look to serve communities where 1 in 5 kids and 1 in 3 adults are overweight or obese, resulting in preventable illnesses like diabetes, heart disease and cancers.
