Israel Manor Inc. (“IMI”) was established in 1996 to expand the mission of Israel Baptist Church, a 600 member fellowship and pillar of the Brookland/Edgewood/ Brentwood communities in Ward 5 of Washington, DC.  IMI’s mission is to serve as a beacon of hope and empowerment and contribute to the growth and prosperity of every resident within Ward 5 and the District of Columbia at large.

We do this by facilitating access to essential training, education, housing, health care, and social services, we enable each resident to maximize his/her human potential.  IMI relies heavily on volunteer support, charitable donations, and public and private funding resources to deliver high-quality early child development services, build/sustain state-of-the-art community facilities and affordable housing; as well as to deliver progressive life enhancing programs for the growth and prosperity of the local neighborhoods, Ward 5 and the greater Washington Metropolitan area.
