Prostate Conditions Education Council

Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC)

Founded in 1989, the Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to saving lives by advancing awareness, education, and early detection of prostate cancer and other prostate health conditions. We focus on reaching men, their loved ones, and the medical community.

As the founders of the national Prostate Cancer Awareness Month program, PCEC has screened millions of men across the country, making it one of the largest and most successful men’s health screening initiatives in the world. Today, our programs run year-round.

Through a broad range of live and virtual events, we work to improve access to precision diagnostics, genetic testing, and treatment options. Our outreach spans diverse demographics and aims to reverse the troubling trend of prostate cancers being diagnosed at advanced stages. We are also deeply engaged in closing gaps in care, supporting patients, and contributing to ongoing research in the prostate health space.

Mission
The Prostate Conditions Education Council is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of men and their loved ones through innovative programming, early detection, patient support, educational outreach, and increased access to the latest diagnostics and treatments for all prostate conditions.
