The Giving Grove

The mission of The Giving Grove is to increase food security, strengthen communities, and improve the environment by bringing together the resources needed to develop community orchards across the nation. The Giving Grove inspires and empowers at-risk neighborhoods to transform abandoned lots into park-like green spaces that:

• Provide healthy calories to food insecure and food desert communities,

• Strengthen communities by enhancing connectedness and resiliency, and

• Act as carbon farms by improving air quality, water quality, and soil health.
