The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA), Indiana Chapter is seeking an energetic, experienced nonprofit professional to serve as its Chief Executive Officer. 

The Lupus Foundation of America is the only national force devoted to solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world’s cruelest, most unpredictable and devastating diseases, while giving caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education and advocacy.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, is responsible for the overall operational management of the chapter, including fundraising/development, human resources, strategic planning, programs, finance, communications, and advancing the mission.

The CEO reports to the Board of Directors.

POSITION OVERVIEW The successful candidate must have the following credentials, skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum 5-7 years professional fundraising experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Significant fundraising experience and accomplishments
  • Experience leading a volunteer Board of Directors
  • Budgeting and financial acumen
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • A passion to make a difference.
