Job Summary**Job Summary**In this role, you will provide leadership, technical assistance, training, consultation, and direction to school districts and charter schools in the implementation and management of the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Emergency Relief (ESSER) and the Governor’s Education Emergency Relief (GEER) funds under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, CSSR Act, and any additional related acts with ESSER and GEER funds for distric and charter schools. Duties Include:* Coordinating the State’s efforts to ensure appropriate use of Federal ESSER and GEER grants in public Minnesota districts and charter schools;* Developing and implementing technical assistance and training opportunities for district and school personnel in order to maximize education investments using program allowable activities and expenditures;* Coordinating with the MDE monitoring and compliance office for timely monitoring of program implementation and ensuring district compliance with related federal program requirements;* Leading and coordinating the functions of the agency regarding ESSER and GEER requirements;* Serving as an integral member of the Equity and Opportunity Division by contributing as necessary so the entire range of team responsibilities and activities are accomplished in an appropriate and timely manner.
