Our industry is at the beginning of a transformational shift and we intend to lead it.What you’ll get to do: The part time TREE Grant Evaluator will work closely with the Burrell Special Projects and Grant teams as well as oversee the evaluation of project activities, including data collection for both SAMHSA and Burrell, alike. The TREE Grant is a SAMHSA Substance Abuse Treatment Grant which runs until September 29, 2023. The goal of the grant is to enhance and expand treatment, intervention, and recovery services for youth and young adults (ages 12 to 25) suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring substance use and/or mental disorders. A grant evaluator will have a solid understanding of grants as an evaluator or researcher, with a solid grounding in public health, social science, or behavioral science evaluation design and methodology. Experience with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data is essential.Education and Experience:+ Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in one of the social or biological sciences+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in behavioral health care services and management.+ Strong administrative skills and self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks in an effective and efficient manner.+ Knowledge of grants, grant evaluation writing and grant reporting.+ Strong editing and reviewing skills.+ Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research and knowledge of statistics.
