Scope of Work: 

The Interim Executive Director will collaborate with the WI Transition Advisory Board, State Voices, and WI civic engagement partners, to support coordination around integrated voter engagement, and the creation of a strong civic engagement table in the state. They will also work with funders, vendors, stakeholders, and consultants to support onboarding for table staff, implement best practices, and ensure the creation of a healthy and sustainable organization. 

Expected Outcomes: 

  • Help build the necessary infrastructure to re-establish a c3 coordinated table in the state to carry out the work identified by stakeholders in 2022 and beyond.

  • Support and build the capacity of WI civic engagement partner organizations. 

  • Assist in fundraising to ensure the long-term viability of the new organization, and create collaborative fundraising plans to invest in partner organizations in 2022-2023.

  • Foster relationships with in-state partners and stakeholders. 

  • Hire, onboard, and manage table staff. 


  • Coordinate and manage robust civic engagement plans and campaigns for the 2022 Midterm cycle, including voter registration, voter education and GOTV activities.

  • Develop post-election plan, and strategic plan for 2023-2024.

  • Convene Wisconsin Civic Engagement Table meetings, Transition Advisory Board meetings, and other standing committee meetings.

  • Create an onboarding plan for new table partners.

  • Support Transition Advisory Board and key stakeholders to draft organizational values, purpose, mission, vision, and structure.

  • Provide support and coordination for longer-term strategic planning on integrated voter engagement and advocacy.

  • Establish systems for reporting and evaluation of organizational goals and objectives.

  • Develop and support capacity building programs for WI partner organizations.

  • At the end of each month during the contractual period, provide an invoice as well as a brief written summary of key activities and deliverable accomplished that month.
