The Men’s Pastor position is responsible for providing pastoral guidance and oversight of the men’s ministry of Eagle Mountain International Church. The Men’s Pastor is responsible for strategically implementing the mission of EMIC under the direction of the Senior Pastors and the Director of Church Operations. This position will provide creative and strategic direction, ministry, teaching, training, and leadership development pertaining to EMIC men and families. The Men’s Pastor is also an integral part of the pastoral staff of EMIC and assists with the planning and execution of all adult services and special events. The successful candidate must serve as a team player and create synergy between ministry departments. The Men’s Pastor is also responsible for congregant care and ministry outside of the given demographic, when directed by leadership. This position reports to the Director of Church Operations.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Preach, teach and minister to the men of EMIC through multiple avenues of communication, including but not limited to in-person services, broadcast services and events, Bible studies, groups, etc.+ Provide leadership and oversight to all areas of Men’s Ministry.+ Establish and cultivate pastoral relationships with men for the purpose of connecting them to the mission of the church.+ Establish a strategic program that ensures every man has a point of connection within the Men’s Ministry of EMIC.+ Maintain an up to date and working knowledge of the status of the men of EMIC.+ Establish and cultivate a culture of connection and discipleship within Men’s Ministry.+ Develop strategies to partner with men and their families, providing a network of faith to facilitate their successful discipleship.+ Develop, mentor, and train volunteer leaders and teams to facilitate ministry activities.+ Develop strategic relationships with EMIC/KCM stakeholders for the purpose of ministry to men on the EMIC campus.+ Manage the guest follow-up and assimilation programs for new men and their families who are joining the church.+ Minister in various capacities outside the Men’s Ministry as part of the expectations and requirements of the EMIC Pastoral team.+ Establish specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound goals for overall growth within the Men’s Ministry demographic.+ Responsible for the strategic development of the Men’s Ministry (including but not limited to project proposals, administration, communication of project details and deadlines).+ Document connections, pastoral care, and discipleship within the Men’s Ministry.+ Provide pastoral counsel specific to the issues of the men of EMIC.+ Build and maintain a faith-based discipleship library.+ Provide budgetary oversight of the Men’s Ministry.+ Partner with and minister to men and their families to provide pastoral support in the spirit of faith during times crisis.+ Acts as an armor-bearer+ Perform other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:+ Must oversee and provide direction Men’s Ministry staff and volunteers, and others as required/assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Experience and Education:+ High School Degree/GED (Minimum)+ Minimum five years of training, and ministry experience.+ Must be experienced in recruiting, training, and motivating leaders.+ Must have five years of experience in pastoral or lay leadership.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:+ Must have knowledge of the Word of God and able to minister to men, their families, and volunteers effectively.+ Must have the ability to train and supervise volunteers.+ Confidentiality and trustworthiness are required.+ Must have the ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in written form.+ Must be proficient in time management, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:+ Computer, using various software applications to include, Outlook, Word, and any software the church may invest in.TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:+ Must be able to sit or stand for lengthy periods before, during, or after services, activities, or events.TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:+ Able to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans+ Must be very detailed, organized and require a modicum of instruction+ Must understand vague and implicit instructions, and react favorably in all work situations+ Must be communicative+ Must be task and goal oriented+ Requires the ability to multi-task+ Must adapt well to changing work situations+ Must be able to grasp and apply new ideas+ Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions+ Must be able to discern spiritual situations and be willing to pray with people+ Must relate and interact with all people+ Must have good command of the English language and be able to proofread work+ Must have a sense of the workings of a ministry and the demands physically, emotionally and spiritually of the staff and pastorsOTHER:+ Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives+ Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division+ Must maintain a good attendance record+ Must be a member of EMIC, regularly attend church services, and support the leadership of EMIC.+ Must be a regular tither to EMIC.+ Must possess a servant’s heart and operate as Armor Bearer.+ Sensitive to needs of others, which includes a love and commitment to the congregation of EMIC and Kenneth Copeland Ministries staff.+ Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse groups of people, considerable skill and diplomacy in communication. Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside departments or groups.+ Self-motivated and takes initiative.
