ARIZONA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (AMS):

The Outreach Coordinator will manage all aspects of the Agency’s membership program and assist with social media accounts and routine website updates. Actively promote AHS membership by communicating with potential visitors, members, and donors at events around the State at AHS sites, AHS certified museums, and public events. Promotes the work of AHS to attract new visitors, members and donors. Maintains the computer database used to track membership sales, renewals, and reporting. Develop a coordinated program of regular member communications such as hand-written thank you notes, scheduled renewal notices, and upgrade appeals designed to secure renewals and membership upgrades. Create member surveys, compiling results and supplying this information to the senior leadership team so that it may be used to improve the guest experience.
General responsibilities include daily administration of the membership program, processing/tracking donations, monitoring special events, maintaining the database, preparing reports, processing deposits as necessary, participating in the development of printed materials, providing public information, preparing purchase orders, and corresponding with the membership, staff, various stakeholder groups, and the general public.
Website and social media account duties may include co-creating, reviewing, editing, updating, and posting information as necessary relating to exhibitions, programs, events, publications, and activities of the Agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
* Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience managing a not-for-profit membership program.
* Demonstrated success in planning and directing a goal-driven, results-oriented program of work.
* Ability to motivate and create enthusiasm among team members.
* Ability to handle and balance many responsibilities in a calm and efficient manner.
* High level of creativity and energy.
* Strong problem-solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency in Google programs.
* Experience with fundraising software, such as Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge or Past Perfect is preferred.
Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
