The Oasis Academy is the world's first school for gifted orphans where the brightest children from around the world realize their full potential. The Oasis Academy is finalizing the development of its flagship campus, located on 8 acres of the Big Island of Hawaii and we are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary President & Executive Director to lead our organization. The Oasis Academy is dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering a strong sense of community. Responsibilities and Duties
As the President & Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in leading Oasis Academy toward excellence and will provide strategic leadership, oversee strategic planning and day-to-day operations, manage finances, develop fundraising strategies, foster community partnerships, ensure compliance with regulations, and work closely with the board of directors to ensure that Oasis Academy remains mission-driven and student-focused.

Fundraising and Development: Lead fundraising initiatives, grant writing, and donor engagement efforts to secure financial support.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to support the academy's vision and ensure sustainability.

Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain financial health and transparency.

Program Development and Implementation: Design and execute innovative academic and extracurricular programs that enhance student success.

Board Relations: Collaborate with the board of directors, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with students, parents, community leaders, and stakeholders to promote the academy’s mission.

Staff Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development.

Advocacy and Public Relations: Represent Oasis Academy in public forums, advocate for educational policies, and enhance the academy’s reputation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should be a visionary leader with a strong background in education management, organizational leadership, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and securing grants for educational programs.

Proven experience in strategic planning and organizational leadership within the education sector.

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.

Expertise in program development and the ability to implement impactful educational initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with boards, stakeholders, and the community.

Experience engaging with global venture capital, private equity, sovereign wealth funds, or family offices. (preferred)

Exceptional staff leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams.

Strong public relations and advocacy abilities to promote the institution’s mission and values.

A Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Education, Business Administration or a related field. (preferred)
