Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage training program of the USNSCC’s 400 local units, to include safety, risk mitigation, child protection, quality control, standardization, and modernization efforts
• Establish unit-level recruiting and retention program focused on program growth
• Maintain relevant partnerships with organizations and cultivate new partnerships focused on unit-level training and other issues
• Act as Inspector General for regional and unit issues and make regular site visits, ensuring quality control and standardization across all units
• Measure, track, and report on unit quality and standardization through the creation, administration, and review of entrance and exit surveys
• Coordinate with the USNSCC’s Curriculum Developer in the creation of a core curriculum to include classroom, online, and textbooks elements
• Support units in the creation of short-term, medium-term, and long-term training plans
• Oversee volunteer professional development programs
• Develop and manage NHQ’s unit training budget
• Support regional directors and commanding officers by providing necessary assistance and resources
• Administer annual inspection program nationwide
• Coordinate efforts of the seven NHQ Area Representatives relating to their region/unit responsibilities

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, balanced with career-level experience
• Experience in workflow management process improvement and implementation
• Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters
• Experience managing complex organizations and multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
