We have an excellent opportunity for a Community Impact Managerbased in Pittsburgh, PA office. The Manager will drive the execution of health impact goals within the area by focusing on nutrition access and education in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation and impact of nutrition access programs.
  • Engage in collective community impact efforts, both leading and supporting, in partnership with key volunteers, strategic alliances, institutions, and corporations.
  • Build and manage clinical partnerships related to nutrition access programs.
  • Collaborate with clinics to provide nutrition education activities to patients (in and out of the clinical setting).
  • Build and manage relationships with small grovery stores, corner stores, food co-ops, etc. to engage in nutrition access program in partnership with The Food Trust.
  • Track and report outcomes of the program to leadership.
  • Engage patients and community members in nutrition education activities in clinical and community settings.
  • Supporting the Community Impact Director with market-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • BS degree with focus in Nutrition/dietetics or related area preferred.
  • Must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in community health nutrition and education programs.
  • Experience planning and implementing nutrition related activities focused on diet related chronic conditions.
  • Experience with project planning, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects in varying stages of development under time constraints.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with various work teams.
  • Excellent convening skills.
  • Proven track record of building partnerships with clinical and community organizations.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel daily up to 75% of the time within the Allegheny county area.
  • Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office 2010 or higher used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs preferred.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, SharePoint, or related repository systems preferred.
  • Previous work implementing policy, systems, and environmental changes preferred.
  • Teaching experience a plus.
