The Project Coordinator reports to the TCB Senior Project Manager.

There are two Project Coordinator positions for the TCB work. Each coordinator will have particular areas of focus, however, the role and responsibilities of the position are the same and include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate and work with the Executive Director of the Tow Youth Justice Institute, the TCB Senior Project Manager, and other UNH faculty, staff, and students to achieve the goals of the TCB.
  • Coordinate, assist, and provide support to TCB workgroups by drafting agendas, PowerPoints, and other meeting material.
  • Schedule and provide logistical support for TCB monthly meetings and meetings of its workgroups.
  • Support the Senior Manager in development and implementation of the project plans of the workgroups.
  • Support the TCB workgroups in researching best practices in the field of children’s behavioral and mental health, and draft reports as identified through legislation and or the workplans.
  • Facilitation and or co-facilitation of meetings as determined by the JJPOC project plans.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related subject/concentration.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination.
  • Experience working in a related field to children’s behavioral and mental health.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, on-line meeting platforms Zooms, Microsoft teams, Google meets, and website navigation) and/or other presentation software.
  • Additional preferred skills and abilities:
    • Understanding of project deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements.
    • Knowledge of youth serving state and municipal agencies, organizations, non-profit providers of children’s behavioral and mental health services, secondary schools, law enforcement, advocates and activists, faith community, parents and caregivers, and youth organizations.
    • Experience/practice in RBA (Results-Based Accountability) and evidence-based approaches as well as data driven decision-making.
