Summary

The Thurston Community Media (TCMedia) Board of Directors is conducting a search for an Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, dynamic, and highly relational individual to lead TCMedia into its next phase of growth. Description

We are particularly seeking candidates who:

  • Is a visionary and strategic leader, responsible for moving TCMedia’s mission forward with a clear path towards growth. This leader will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization.

  • Know how to work within and across multiple sectors to build partnerships that grow and support the mission.

  • Have experience with fundraising and resource development strategy and implementation, including the ability to develop and implement an annual fundraising plan that includes grants, fund appeals, cultivation of major donors and other activities while articulating a strong value proposition. 

  • Have fluency and experience leading and operationalizing racial equity initiatives and efforts, as well as have experience building and supporting inclusive and effective staff teams

  • Understand board governance, volunteer engagement, and nonprofit finance and operations.

Salary Range: $80,000 annually plus benefits based on the candidate’s experience.
