Applicants must have flexibility to travel 10 – 15%, depending on the time of the year, and availability to work occasional nights and weekends.

What You’ll Do
Working locally from your Minnesota home office, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of FIRST Robotics Competition events in your assigned region. Additionally, you will:

Collaborate with the Regional Director to plan and execute FRC regional events within budget and in alignment with FIRST standards

Recruit, train, and support volunteer Regional Planning Committee (RPC) members to ensure high-quality, well-coordinated competitions

Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities with local and regional partners, in coordination with the Regional Director and FIRST development strategies

Support RPC members and volunteers in fundraising efforts to cover program and event costs

Assist in the development of sponsor recognition materials and preparation of impact reports

Partner with RPCs to plan and deliver meaningful VIP and sponsor experiences at events

Help recruit and engage key volunteers focused on donor relations, outreach, and partnership development

Prepare and present monthly activity reports and meet all required HQ timelines for training, youth protection compliance, and annual partner updates

Typically requires a BS/BA in related discipline and generally requires at least 2 years of directly related experience

Proficient with Microsoft 365

Excellent organizational skills, written, and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of fundraising for non-profit organization

Strong relationship management abilities

Financial management and budgeting

Flexibility to travel 10 – 15%, depending on the time of the year, and availability to work occasional nights and weekends

Salary Range: $59,137 – $66,530
Offers typically fall within this range, based on experience and internal equity.
