This Human Services Program Manager will provide oversight and leadership to the Prevention teams, the maintenance of a stable housing program for CFS families and the development of Family Resource Centers. This position will manage a program that is a voluntary, intervention program that focuses on a family’s strengths and needs, and aims to help children, youth, and families thrive. This position will require someone who values strong collaboration, early intervention, and engaging families in their strengths to manage their needs through working with services across the entire service continuum in Children and Family Services and external providers in the community. The preferred candidate will be able to effectively manage and provide leadership to social workers and supervisors and successfully work in a team environment with other managers and possess the ability to facilitate and reach consensus agreements. Location and hours:This position is hybrid and will be performed both on site at the Health Services Building, 525 Portland Avenue South, various Human Service Center locations, or other public spaces in Hennepin County, and remote as job duties require. Work hours are primarily days, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Some evening and weekend work will be expected and necessary, but this will be rare. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
