Summary

The IT and Cybersecurity Manager reports to the Officers. They are responsible for managing information technology and cybersecurity tasks to meet specific internal and client needs across varied areas.

Description

  • Duties may include, but are not limited to:  

    • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to perform Information Technology functions. Functions can be, but are not limited to: 
      • Diagnose and resolve website issues. 
      • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. 
      • Provide technical support and assistance to our internal and external stakeholders. 
      • Respond to service issues and requests from our internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. 
      • Programming deliverables. 
      • Other Information Technology deliverables. 
    • Deliver frontline technical support for our internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Establish and implement IT best practices. 
    • Identify, assess, and quantify cyber security risks. 
    • Develop processes, policies, standards, systems, and measurements to manage IT assets. 
    • Research industry best practices and incorporating them with organizational practices. 
    • Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database. 
    • Conduct audits to assess the potency of our IT systems and offer potential improvements to the current systems. 
    • Provide Support to our internal and external stakeholders regarding website design and development. 
    • Complete other duties as assigned. 

     

    Skills may include, but are not limited to:  

    • Proven ability to work in a remote setting including effective communication, punctuality, solid time management, and meeting deadlines.  
    • Ability to manage varied tasks, prioritize, and switch between clients and tasks seamlessly.  
    • Ability to complete projects quickly and efficiently, be task-oriented, work with minimal supervision, and display flexibility in working styles.  
    • Ability to work under various supervisors who may have different communication/leadership styles.  
    • Previous experience with WordPress and website design. 
    • Ability to understand and apply Information Technology and Administrative concepts (ITAM). 
    • Understanding of Governance and Risk and Compliance as it applies to ITAM. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and online systems including SharePoint and Teams. 
    • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly and thoroughly.  
    • Ability to self-teach, self-direct to learn new skills, and know when to ask for help.  
    • Polite, professional, and timely written and verbal communication skills.  
    • Attention to detail in written and verbal communications.  
    • Ability to maintain appropriate work and personal boundaries while working remotely.  
    • Efficient and thorough record-keeping and organization skills.  
    • Responsive and willing attitude. 

    Required Qualifications:  

    • Associate degree in information technology or a related field, and/or 2-3 years of relevant IT experience.  
    • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and switch between clients and tasks easily.  
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and online systems including SharePoint and Teams. 
    • Experience working with WordPress and other website platforms. 
    • Knowledge of and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

    Preferred Qualifications:  

    • Bachelor's degree, or higher, in information technology, or a related field, and/or 3-4 years of relevant IT experience.  
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.  
  • Salary range
    $24 – $29 per hour
