Summary
The Rialto seeks a strategic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Director to lead all marketing and communications efforts as we continue our capital campaign and prepare for our 2028 inaugural season. This individual will work closely with the staff and the Board to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that builds brand awareness, deepens community engagement, and supports fundraising goals.
Description
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, Director of Development, and Board to develop and implement the Rialto’s marketing strategy and plan.
- Align marketing efforts with fundraising, community engagement, and programming objectives.
- Maintain a cohesive brand voice, visual identity, and messaging framework.
Content Creation & Communication
- Lead all storytelling efforts across platforms, including long-form writing (articles, features, donor stories, and community profiles).
- Produce and manage press releases, media pitches, and communication assets.
- Oversee copywriting and content creation for campaigns, programs, and events.
- Create or ensure the creation of photos, graphics, and video assets to be used in storytelling.
Digital Marketing & Platform Management
- Manage website content and updates (Squarespace).
- Develop and execute social media strategy aligned with marketing and fundraising goals.
- Manage day-to-day content creation and posting across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms as needed. Ensure high-quality visuals and compelling storytelling to increase engagement.
- Review and analyze platform analytics to assess performance and refine strategy to increase reach and engagement.
- Create social media campaigns that highlight events, creators, community, fundraising, building progress, etc.
- Lead email newsletter creation and distribution.
- Establish and maintain CRM processes for marketing segmentation, tracking, and reporting.
Community & Influencer Engagement
- Launch and manage a Rialto ambassador program to gain critical feedback and support from the community.
- Launch and manage a roundtable with local influencers and content creators to explore future partnerships and amplify the Rialto message.
- Work in partnership with the Community Engagement Committee on outreach opportunities.
Collaboration & Cross-Department Support
- Work closely with the Fundraising Committee to support campaigns, donor communications, and event promotion.
- Partner with the Community Engagement team to amplify partnerships, programs, and public-facing initiatives.
- Provide marketing support for events, programming announcements, and organizational milestones.
Management & Operations
- Manage marketing calendars, workflows, schedules, and assets.
- Oversee or manage outside vendors, creative partners, and consultants as needed.
- Track KPIs and analytics across channels; produce regular performance reports.
