Director of Communications, The Fuller Project

The Fuller Project seeks a Director of Communications (Director) to develop and implement communications strategies aimed at amplifying and advancing The Fuller Project’s strategic priorities and growth ambitions. In this newly created role, the Director will serve as the organization’s lead on PR, audience engagement, and events. Reporting to the CEO, the Director will work closely with the Editor in Chief and reporters across the organization to help craft engagement strategies for each beat, thereby increasing The Fuller Project’s reach.

Managing Director of Development

Reporting to the Chief of Development, the Managing Director will collaborate closely with other MD’s to develop and lead a superior donor engagement strategy through by increasing the synergy and efficiency between four critical areas of the Development Department: annual giving, governance, planned giving and events. With oversight of three of these functions, The MD, Development is well positioned to craft a donor relations strategies for important contributors who are not high priority campaign donors: donors who have recently contributed and are unlikely to give again soon, donors who are not yet giving $25,000 (annual giving), and all governance prospects and members.

Managing Director of Individual Giving

Reporting to the Chief of Development, the Managing Director of Individual Giving is a new senior leadership position. The Managing Director devises and implements statewide strategies, leveraging The Trustees unique engagement platform of 119 properties to maximize philanthropic support of $25,000 or more. Our development department is a fast paced and entrepreneurial group which is constantly customizing gift opportunity proposals based on programmatic priorities.

Digital Organizer

Our Digital Organizer position could be a great fit for you!

We are looking for a dynamic and effective Digital Organizer to help us build our online community and support our online-to-offline lead-generation efforts. This job does not involve content creation; rather, it’s all about providing personal one-on-one communications with people who are engaging SEIU-UHW. This position uses new media and digital tools to organize, advocate on our issues, and increase member and community engagement. It is a public-facing position involving direct communication with our members, supporters, and the public via multiple online platforms.

The Digital Organizer will work collaboratively across Communications, Field, and Political staff, and leverage technology to expand our reach, build support for our campaigns, and drive fundraising and offline engagement while enhancing the member and supporter experience. The Digital Organizer will help manage our presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube in addition to helping us grow our presence on more digital channels to help grow the reach and power of our online base.

The ideal candidate has organizing or customer service experience, is already personally active on social media, and is passionate about things like ladders of engagement and moving people from online to offline activism (and vice versa).
