Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Individual Giving Manager deepens donor
relationships and supports annual fundraising at the Arvada Center. This position manages a portfolio
of individual donors and leads the strategy and execution of spring and summer giving campaigns.
In addition to building mid-level donor pipelines, this role enhances donor experience through
personalized engagement, events, and storytelling — and offers strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
Donor Portfolio Management

 Manage a portfolio of 100–150 individual donors and prospects giving up to $10,000 annually
 Cultivate and solicit gifts through personalized outreach, meetings, and stewardship
 Identify and qualify potential major gift prospects

Campaign Leadership – Spring & Summer Appeals
 Lead multi-channel spring and summer appeals, including messaging, segmentation, and follow-up
 Collaborate with marketing on compelling, impact-driven content
 Analyze results and donor behaviors to inform strategy

Prospect Development & Pipeline Growth
 Conduct prospect research and manage donor moves
 Develop strategies to grow annual fund donors into mid-level donors
 Create cultivation touchpoints aligned with donor interests
 Support storytelling and targeted outreach materials

Event & Giving Programs
 Plan and execute donor events (Behind the Scenes, Center tours, Employee Giving events, etc.)
 Serve on the Arts for All Gala committee; coordinate the silent auction including procurement, volunteers, and signage
 Attend performances to foster relationships through ‘surprise and delight’ moments

Collaboration & Communication
 Partner with development and program staff to align donor messaging
 Contribute content to Creative Connections and support donor events
 Help foster a culture of philanthropy across departments

Reporting & Administration
 Track and report on campaign performance using Tessitura and AirTable
 Conduct donor research and identify prospects using iWave analytics and tools
 Maintain accurate donor records and run performance reports
 Generate stewardship materials and support budgeting and forecasting
 Stay current on mid-level fundraising trends and best practices

Qualifications
 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, especially individual giving
 Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
 Strong project management and organizational abilities
 Familiarity with donor CRMs (Tessitura preferred)
 Experience with donor campaigns, segmentation, and event planning
 Passion for the arts and humanities
 Team-oriented, adaptable, and detail-driven
 High ethical standards and discretion with confidential information

Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt position earning an annualized salary range of $60,000 – $65,000 in
addition to a benefit package including health, dental, vision insurance plans, term life and accident
policies, 401k retirement plan, flexible spending plan, paid time off, and more!
