Job Title: Non-Profit Internship (Unpaid, Part-Time)

Location: 651 W 180th st. New York, New York 10033

Hours: Part-Time (10–15 hours/week)

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship

About Us:

We are a mission-driven non-profit organization committed to bringing healthcare to the needy. We run an orphanage and a birthing center in Ounaminthe, Hiait and in Dajabon, Dominican Republic. We lead six mission trips a year to Dajabon, Dominican Republic. We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated intern to support our team and help build sustainable systems that further our impact.

Position Summary:

This part-time internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and community engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and eager to contribute to meaningful work that drives positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Condense and organize information from multiple sources to support operational planning

• Develop and refine systems to improve organizational efficiency and flow

• Collaborate with team members to plan and awareness campaigns

• Inspire community members to contribute to our mission

• Support data management and reporting using tools like Microsoft Excel and Word

• Contribute to the development of volunteer training resources

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background or experience in nonprofit work or similar roles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working with diverse communities

• Ability to manage data accurately and efficiently

• Creative thinker and proactive problem-solver
