Business Manager

Kroka Expeditions is seeking an experienced finance manager to join our team and take the lead on the organization’s growing finances. Kroka is a wilderness expedition school based on a year-round organic farm in Marlow, NH. Founded in 1994, we provide short-term and semester-long programming to upwards of 1,000 students annually in the areas of adventure sports and wilderness skills. The Business Manager will take responsibility for Kroka’s financial operations including managing cash flow, budgeting, student accounts and financial aid, and strategic financial planning.

Human Resources Coordinator

As a member of the Finance and Operations department, the Human Resources Coordinator supports human resources functions and services for employees based in the U.S. and Canada and performs administrative office functions at SFI’s D.C. headquarters. This role assists the Senior Operations Manager with hiring new staff, onboarding new hires, administering benefits, maintaining HR files, and answering internal and external inquiries. The Human Resources Coordinator resolves payroll and benefit-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. This role ensures that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and human resources information systems (HRIS) entry. This role is ideal for an individual interested in building a career in human resources.

Deputy Director

COMBINEDBrain is devoted to speeding the path to clinical treatments for people with severe rare genetic non-verbal neurodevelopmental disorders by pooling efforts, studies and data.
The Deputy Director (Operations Officer) is ultimately responsible for the overall organizational management of COMBINEDBrain. This primarily involves project coordination and supervision, board meeting coordination and member management, communications and administrative tasks.
The Deputy Director (Operations Officer) will help create organizational structure while maintaining the responsibility for the financial and operational stability and programmatic success of the organization.
