Finance and Operations Manager

Executive Assistant

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the executive assistant is responsible for assisting the ED on multiple organizational levels, including scheduling, coordinating and organizing. The executive assistant role requires an individual who understands and is passionate about the mission and vision of the organization and exemplifies DPN core value. The executive assistant will have the primary responsibility to act as the ED’s gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to the ED as needed. The successful candidate will help to maintain communication across teams and perform all duties and tasks as assigned/requested

Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff (COS) provides administrative support to the Executive Director, to whom he/she will report directly, and will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Preservation Society of Charleston (PSC). The PSC is a preservation advocacy organization that was founded in 1920 as the first community-based such organization in the country. The PSC serves as a strong advocacy leader for citizens concerned about preserving Charleston’s distinctive character, quality of life, and diverse neighborhoods.

Managing Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Share Our Strength

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, and with a seat on the Executive team, the organization’s first dedicated Managing Director of DEI will have the exciting opportunity to join an organization that is eager to become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, and looking to this Managing Director to provide expertise, guidance, and compassionate leadership. The Managing Director of DEI will provide organization-wide leadership to cultivate and champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture, centered on our core values. The Managing Director will partner closely with staff across the organization, soliciting and utilizing input from others to build a reasonable, realistic, meaningful, and sustainable approach to DEI. This Managing Director will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of Share Our Strength’s diversity framework, and subsequent goals, metrics, and assessments that support a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

Bookkeeper & Office Administrator

GAIA’s U.S. office is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to support the organization with its bookkeeping, administration, office management, events coordination, and special projects.

The Bookkeeper & Office Administrator serves as a logistical resource throughout the organization and will be responsible for day-to-day operations including bookkeeping, HR and administration, assistance to program staff, and ensuring the office operations run smoothly. The position reports to GAIA’s Finance & Business Coordinator and works in close collaboration with U.S. program staff and occasional international staff on special projects and events.
