Project Director-YRI

This position will be responsible for developing and funding an independent non-for-profit entity, Youth Research Institute (YRI). YRI will assume responsibility for the training of staff in child welfare and child protective agencies at the newly opened, state-of-the-art, OCFS Human Services Training Center. Once this entity is established, the incumbent will serve as its Executive Director reporting to the Board of Directors and be will essential in laying the operational foundation of YRI and establishing the Institute as a viable organization.

NRCS Program Division Director

Position Summary: The NRCS National Program Director, in partnership with SWCA consultants, provides leadership and coordination in the implementation of all monitoring and restoration practices on NRCS easements nationwide, as established in the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) and the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program – Wetland Reserve Easements (ACEP-WRE).

Assistant Education Director

The Wade Institute for Science Education (formerly MITS) is a not-for profit corporation whose mission is to promote the teaching of participatory, inquiry-based science, mathematics and technology/engineering education through collaborative partnership with museums and other non-profit organizations. The Wade Institute provides Professional Development programs and resources for K-12 formal and informal educators.

The Assistant Education Director works closely with the Director of Education to coordinate and maintain programs, provide programmatic and administrative support for programs, and assist with developing new initiatives. Qualifications: Masters Degree in education, science or related field; program management experience; formal/informal teaching experience using inquiry-based, hands-on methods.
