Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota (GESMN) in the search for a Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Philanthropy Officer will be a vital member of the executive leadership team, charged with developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at advancing the organization's mission. This position will oversee all facets of philanthropy, including major gifts, annual and planned giving, and corporate and foundation relations, as well as donor stewardship. By fostering strategic partnerships and launching innovative fundraising initiatives, the CPO will ensure sustained revenue growth to support the organization's objectives.
As the architect of a modernized and scalable fundraising function, the CPO will evaluate and strengthen systems, guide a team of eight philanthropy professionals, and expand the organizational culture of philanthropy. The CPO will play an integral role in propelling GESMN's mission forward through strategic fundraising efforts and dynamic donor engagement. The position will be central to the organization's long-term sustainability, requiring the development and implementation of creative approaches to expand financial philanthropic support while cultivating and strengthening relationships with donors, partners, and the broader community.

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least seven years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising or development within a large nonprofit or similar organization is required for this position. A CFRE designation is preferred. Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. The salary range for this position is $240,000 to $280,000. Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans, and paid holidays. GESMN also offers Responsible PTO, which is the ability to take off time as you need it to assist in balancing work and home life as it is acknowledged that meetings operations can interfere with time off. This role will also accrue job-protected Earned Sick and Safe Time.
