Membership and Advocacy Coordinator

The Membership and Advocacy Coordinator (MAC) plays a critical role in supporting and advancing leadership capacity in rural Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault (DVSA) programs across Wyoming. Through strategic training, technical assistance (TA), and mentorship, the MAC supports organizational development, reduces leadership turnover, and enhances capacity for programs serving both mainstream and traditionally underserved populations. Additionally, the MAC works with other WCADVSA staff to build sustainable systems that center on equity and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Support DVSA directors through onboarding, peer mentoring, and leadership development programs.
- Coordinate training, TA, and professional development opportunities for rural DVSA leaders and advocates.
- Sustain and expand the Core Rural Advocacy Training (CRAT) and Training of Trainers (ToT) programs.
- Facilitate networking and capacity-building among member programs through meetings, webinars, and shared resources.
- Track and evaluate program outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of experience in some combination of program management, training, technical assistance, and advocacy
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leadership development, trauma-informed care, or culturally responsive programming
- Experience working with underserved populations and rural communities.
- Familiarity with Wyoming’s justice system and social services related to DVSA.
- Experience with nonprofit management, grant compliance, or community engagement.
- Experience with membership engagement
Work Environment
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Training and Technical Assistance Director. The role may be performed on-site in Laramie or remotely from anywhere in Wyoming (tech equipment is provided, and reliable internet access is required). Travel up to 20% is required, with mileage, meals, and lodging covered while traveling.
