ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the NorthSouth Foundation in the search for a Chief Executive Officer.

The NorthSouth Foundation seeks a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will be the highest-ranking executive, responsible for providing operational and strategic leadership. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to drive operational excellence, set priorities, strengthen NSF's infrastructure, and execute a strategic vision in line with the mission of the NorthSouth Foundation. They will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating paid staff and volunteers along with establishing processes and policies to support the NorthSouth Foundation's efforts.

Since 1989, the NorthSouth Foundation has been empowering students to reach their full potential. Through academic coaching, the Learning Journey program, and competitions, the NorthSouth Foundation provides a pathway to success for students from all backgrounds. The foundation also supports disadvantaged students with the funds to pursue their educational goals. The NorthSouth Foundation's annual academic competitions and spelling bees inspire thousands of students to reach for the stars. Beyond academics, the foundation fosters leadership and citizenship through programs like Young Changemakers. Since its founding, NorthSouth has provided more than 35,000 scholarships to students in India who demonstrate academic excellence and a desire to continue their education but cannot financially afford to pursue their dream.

Through educational programs and scholarships, NorthSouth is empowering students in the U.S. and around the world. With over 75 active U.S. chapters, these nationwide partners are key to NorthSouth Foundation's impact. Together, this grassroots network creates a strong, passionate community fostering excellence in education, greater empathy, and impactful social entrepreneurship. The NorthSouth Foundation, supported by over 5,000 dedicated volunteers, empowers thousands of students each year.

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least five years of senior level management experience or the equivalent, is required for this position. The NorthSouth Foundation is open to candidates with no prior non-profit experience, provided they have managed a mid-scale operation and possess an entrepreneurial mindset focused on executing, rather than advising.

This is a remote position. The Chief Executive Officer may work from any location in the United States, preferably near a major regional airport. They will be expected to travel approximately 30% of their time to support the 75 chapters of the NorthSouth Foundation across the United States. Additionally, the Chief Executive Officer will need to work frequently in the evenings and on weekends to partner effectively with NSF's volunteers.

The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 annually. The NorthSouth Foundation provides a competitive benefits package.
