In addition to working directly with young people, we train, coach and advocate for youth-serving institutions like Chicago Public Schools to be restorative and trauma-informed.Position OverviewThe Community Wellness Manager will lead Alternatives’ services and programming for case management, trauma-informed capacity building, and physical wellness. The Community Wellness Manager will have experience managing teams, in multidisciplinary health services, and in quality assurance. Responsibilities:Perform the following from a racial, gender, sexuality, and ability equity lens:Recruit, hire, supervise, train, support, including monitoring and evaluation, team as assigned, along with appropriate in-service training based on their assessed needsProvide supervision, including monitoring and evaluation, to teams as assigned, along with appropriate in-service training based on their assessed needs.Actively promote internal cross-collaboration between the Behavioral Health Teams and Restorative Justice Teams. Stay current with trauma-informed care, behavioral health, case management, physical wellness, and capacity building best practices.Develop and maintain appropriate external partnerships and relationships.Administer relevant contracts including supervision of staff, agency outreach, trainings, quarterly report writing, grant reporting and presentations to market programs.Support director to facilitate strategic development.Serve as a member of the leadership team and other working groups as assigned.Attend and actively participate in department and agency meetings.Assist the Director of Programs and the Director of Finance to monitor programs and budget.
