ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Acres of Diamonds in the search for a Senior Director of Development.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Director of Development will hold a high-impact senior leadership role with substantial strategic authority and direct influence on the organization's future. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, this position will be the primary leader for all fundraising, donor relations, capital campaigns, and community engagement initiatives at Acres of Diamonds. The Sr. Director will lead a team of three revenue generating development professionals and the Sr. Manager of Operations & Projects, while personally managing a select portfolio of top donors.
The organization is currently in a major $12.5 million capital campaign, and the Sr. Director will join with senior leadership to ensure its successful completion, as well as establish sustainable fundraising systems for ongoing growth. Acres of Diamonds raises approximately $3 million annually, with the expectation of doubling that income in the next few years based on their current trajectory. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced nonprofit fundraising executive with a history of successfully leading, mentoring and developing a high performing fundraising team and who is committed to major gift cultivation, capital campaign leadership, and donor-centered philanthropy in a faith-based environment.
Acres of Diamonds is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to helping women and children break cycles of generational poverty, addiction, abuse, trauma, and homelessness through long-term, relationship-centered care. Founded in 1995, Acres of Diamonds was created from a belief that families deserve more than temporary shelter or short-term intervention. They believe lasting transformation happens when women and children are surrounded by stable relationships, practical support, accountability, and a community that believes in their future.
Their residential program serves women and children experiencing housing instability and significant life challenges by providing safe housing, counseling, mentoring, parenting support, life-skills development, educational advocacy, and opportunities for emotional and spiritual healing. Today, Acres of Diamonds is entering a significant season of growth and expanded impact. With plans to increase long-term capacity for families and deepen community engagement, the organization is seeking a Senior Director of Development who is excited to help shape the future of a mission-driven, relationally focused organization committed to generational transformation.
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least seven years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience, with at least four years in senior leadership overseeing teams and major fundraising initiatives, is required for this position. The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000. Acres of Diamonds offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, and generous paid time off.
