ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with PAI in the search for a Vice President of Development.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice Presidentwill lead PAI's fundraising function and drive the next phase of growth and evolution for the organization's development program. The Vice President will develop, implement, and achieve strategic plans for increasing private support and major gifts, corporate and family foundation partnerships, planned giving, annual giving, donor relations, and prospect research.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President will serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on partner in strengthening PAI's philanthropic infrastructure, systems, and fundraising operations. This leader will help advance a growing and increasingly sophisticated development program while supporting an organization operating at a pivotal moment for global sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy.
The Vice President will provide strategic support for foundation relations and lead the identification, cultivation, solicitation, renewal, and stewardship of gifts. They will effectively communicate the mission and values of PAI, serve as a trusted thought partner to the President & CEO and colleagues across the organization, and bring a strong understanding of current best practices in fundraising, donor engagement, and development operations.
PAI is a non-profit, civil society organization, which was founded over 60 years ago. Based in Washington, DC, we work to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights for all people through US and global advocacy, partnerships with multi-sectoral institutions, and the funding of community-based organizations across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. PAI envisions a world where all people can fully realize their sexual and reproductive health and rights to achieve health equity, economic well-being and gender equality. At PAI, we believe that equitable progress for sexual and reproductive health and rights is central in achieving urgent and sustained gains for the health, equality and prosperity of women, youth and at-risk communities around the world.
PAI advocates on the global stage and works with policymakers in Washington, DC to drive supportive and expansive US foreign aid and foreign policy for sexual and reproductive health care. We also provide flexible funding and strategic and technical advocacy support to more than 120 community-based organizations in over 35 countries so local advocates can advance sexual and reproductive health investment priorities and policy priorities in their own countries and communities.
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least fifteen years of professional fundraising experience with demonstrated success in a senior development leadership role is required for this position. PAI will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. The salary range for this position is $165,000 to $185,000. PAI offers a comprehensive package of benefits that includes health, dental, and vision care, a direct contribution 403(b) retirement plan, and a flexible spending account.
