Rural Development Specialist – Environmental

Technical assistance, needs assessments, grant proposals, financial management

Do you have water, wastewater or solid waste experience? Do you understand the management and financing aspects of utility operation? Do you want to work with an organization that is passionate about rural communities? As RCAC’s Rural Development Specialist – Environmental, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

Assess the needs of our local partners
Build technical, managerial, and/or financial capacity
Access financial resources to address local demands
Recommend and implement solutions
Promote and facilitate partnerships to maximize limited resources
Develop, prepare, and deliver group and one-on-one trainings
The preferred location for this position is in North Las Vegas, NV within one hour from an airport, but other locations will be considered.

Rural Development Specialist – Community and Economic Development

Identify and develop economic strategies, funding proposals, feasibility studies

Are you an economic development professional with a passion to help other succeed? Are you a people person with great leadership skills? As RCAC’s Rural Development Specialist – Community and Economic Development you wil be responsible for, but not limited to:

Provide training, technical assistance, and coaching to small rural communities within the RCAC footprint to identify and implement economic opportunities for a place-based entrepreneurial cutlure
Assist communities to build leadership, entrepreneurial and economic development networks
Facilitate local planning and leadership development programs
Provide training and technical assistance to small rural communities to develop and submit federal, state and private applications to fund local economic and community development goals.
The preferred location for this position is West Sacramento, CA but other locations will be considered.

Executive Director
