The Vermont Center for Ecostudies (VCE) seeks an experienced director of development to lead a growing development program at a respected organization with a committed donor base. The successful candidate will manage a strategic, relationship-based fundraising program with a focus on expanding major gifts, growing the annual fund, and ramping up our planned giving program. $80,000–$95,000 salary, flexible schedule, and 30–40 paid days off per year.

Senior Director of Development and Community Relations

Reporting directly to the CEO – Visionary and working closely with the Development Director, this role leads moves management, donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts of $10,000 and above, with a strong emphasis on six and seven figure gifts.

Development Manager (Open to Remote Work in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex)

The Development Manager supports the execution of the organization’s fundraising strategy by managing donor relationships, coordinating grant efforts, and overseeing the systems and operations that drive philanthropic revenue. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with opportunities to grow into greater ownership of the development function over time.

Regional Manager, Voter-Approved Children’s Funds – Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma

he Regional Manager, Voter Approved Children’s Funds will support Children’s Funding Project’s work to establish and promote voter-approved children’s funds (VACFs) throughout the United States, with a particular focus on Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Specifically, the Regional Manager will provide coaching, technical assistance, training, and other supports to communities that have or are working to establish VACFs through local ballot measures.

We produce a daily TV, radio and internet news hour that is Democracy Now!’s Development Associate manages the donor database, from overseeing data hygiene to generating mailing lists, reports, and gift acknowledgment letters; assists with individual and foundation prospect research; plays a critical role in donor and audience engagement for donors $1 to $999. This position reports to the Director of Development.
