The Illinois State Museum Society is seeking an experienced part-time full-charge accountant to support its operations and the activities associated with its Illinois State Museum System engagement. This individual will manage the accounting processes for the Society, including its retail operations, and aid in ongoing audit preparedness efforts through regular reconciliations, accrual updates, and overall compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
The Finance Grants Manager provides technical accounting, budget and other administrative support for Program Managers, Grant Managers and the Development team under the direction of the Associate Director of Finance. Responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing and properly recording financial transactions for all forms of giving to include Individual, Foundational and Government awards. Tracking revenues and expenditures and preparing required internal and external financial reports.
As the Finance and Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial landscape of AAACC and shape its financial future.
