They supervise coordinators and drive strong processes that enable accountability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Managing Director of Accounting (Controller)

The Managing Director of Accounting leads CBED’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and audit readiness. Reporting to the CFAO, this hands-on role oversees monthly close, compliance with nonprofit standards, and accounting operations. They supervise staff, manage auditors, and build scalable systems to support organizational growth and financial integrity.

The NYCLU seeks an experienced, innovative, and dynamic racial justice legal expert who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced organization.
