Director of Development

We seek an enthusiastic, charismatic, innovative, organized and responsible individual with an appreciation for nature and the environment to join the Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance (SoWBA) team. The Director of Development position is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing SoWBA’s fundraising initiatives and activities to meet an annual budget of $1.3M and ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organization and support its program, operation, and capital needs.

Community Organizer

Northern Plains Resource Council seeks a Community Organizer who will develop the leadership of regular Montanans to organize and build power on energy, environmental, and agriculture issues. This role will also organize at least one of Northern Plains’ local chapters. In this role, you won’t be tied to a desk, you’ll meet lots of people, and you’ll make change happen at the grassroots level.

Based in Hudson or Menomonie, WI, this role oversees annual and planned giving, workplace campaigns, and select events, while also supporting marketing and outreach. Ideal candidates have experience in fundraising, strong communication skills, and a passion for community impact.

Finance and Administrative Support Specialist

The Finance and Administrative Specialist will manage the Foundation’s day-to-day financial record-keeping and reporting, while also providing administrative assistance to the Executive Director. The balance between bookkeeping functions and administrative support tasks will vary throughout the year depending on project assignments and seasonal priorities. This is a critical role for maintaining the financial health of the organization and supporting its leadership team in achieving excellence.

Development Director

This individual will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivate and steward donor relationships, and oversee grant writing and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth development, a commitment to our mission, and a proven track record in fundraising and development work. This position reports to the Board of Directors Executive Committee. This is a .5 FTE position.
